Hello and happy new year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! This week was so full of fun and laughter my heart is very full. I had so much fun giving gifts to friends, and I am feeling completely spoiled rotten with all the wonderful things I received for Christmas.

I did receive a hatch alarm clock which has already changed my life for the better. We are doing rain sounds, we’re doing red light, we’re doing white noise, and we are waking up to the most fun sounds and lights! I am so obsessed with my alarm clock it’s not even funny.

Also, stranger things episodes dropped his week and you better believe I was up all night watching those kids run around and save the freaking world. Those are my brothers and sisters truly. I am very excited for the finale this week, and have been spending a lot of time watching will Byers edits on TikTok thank you very much.

Another huge update is that I did go ahead and cut bangs this week and I have been transformed and renewed.

I have so much more to speak on so let’s get right to it.

SONG OF THE WEEK

This week’s song is going to have to be there’s your trouble by the Dixie Chicks. I did not know this song very well at all until Saturday night where I was convinced to sing it with friends at karaoke night and maybe I didn't know a single word but thats completely fine. Now it's been stuck in my head and I cannot stop listening to it.

I am a chronic over thinker and have a huge tendency to dwell on the past, get very worried about what others think about me and about the future. I am really working towards perfecting the things I can control, rather than trying to change things that I do not have the ability to change !

The word of the week is TEMPORIZE meaning to avoid making a decision or giving a definite answer in order to have more time.

My favorite thing I’ve worn this week is my bangs. Stoked they are here to stay.

  • run a half marathon

  • read every night (aim for a book a month)

  • see 2 new national parks

  • join a club

  • go on a date

  • journal and plan each week

  • start grad school !

  • make dinner at home more / eat out less

  • stop habits that make me feel bad

  • get out of my house on a weekend at least once a month

  • stay consistent with yoga and pilates

CRAFT OF THE WEEK

Oh you guys couldn’t even begin to understand how excited I am about this. I receive the Hobonichi weeks 2026 planner for Christmas and I love it so much it makes me sick. My entire for you page, Pinterest, and all other forms of media I am consuming are surrounded around the hobonichi weeks. She is perfect.
