MERRRYYY CHRISTMAS 🎄
I cannot believe Christmas is this week time has just absolutely flown by. This year is looking a little different for me as this is the first year that I am not going home for Christmas. I do go ahead and work on both Christmas Eve and Christmas, buttt I am not sad because I truly love my job and am so excited to do fun Christmas activities with the patients!
This week was honestly very hectic but sometimes that’s just how life goes and that is a-okay.
Lets get right on into it.
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
SONG OF THE WEEK
I had a very difficult time choosing this week’s song. I unfortunately am a known hater of a lot of Christmas music. That being said, there are some festive songs that hold a special place in my heart <3 Please listen as you read, and watch the video if you feel so inclined.
Paul wrote and recorded the song largely on his own during sessions for his McCartney II project, playing most of the instruments himself. It was initially released as a standalone holiday single and later included as a bonus track on various reissues!
It is one of my favorite Christmas songs, some people find it really repetitive, but it reminds me of my Grandma and Papa an it is just so special to me.
AFFIRMATION OF THE WEEK

✨I AM BECOMING EVERY THING I EVER WANTED TO BE ✨
Some of you may know that I am knee deep in the grad school application process and it is oh so stressful. However, I think it is important to focus on all the things I have already done!
For so long I have dreamed of going to college, studying the brain, and working in the mental health field. Now, I have a BS in clinical psychology, and get to go to work every single day and make a difference in young girls lives!
✨I AM BECOMING THE PERSON I USED TO DREAM ABOUT ✨
It is important to zoom out and look at all the things you have accomplished! I am very proud of myself and who I am. And you should be too!!
WORD OF THE WEEK
The word of the week is Bah humbug!
Bah humbug is a famous exclamation from Charles Dickens'A Christmas Carol, used by Ebenezer Scrooge to express disdain, cynicism, or disbelief, especially towards Christmas cheer, meaning something is a fraud, nonsense, or not worth the fuss
